HOW TO BOOK A CHARTER

BOOKING INFORMATION
You can call us at 805-672-2414. Our offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 6:00pm (Pacific Time), and most Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. If you call us during non business hours, or if we do not answer for some reason, please leave a message, with your name, and phone number where we can reach you, and we will return your call as quickly as possible, and Big Mike or Barb will be glad to help you.

If you like, you can email us the information for the charter and we will get back to you as quickly as we can. Please send e-mail to BigMike@BigMikesFishingCharters.com. We need to know the following information:

• Name of Charter Master or group (person or persons booking the charter)
• Address
• City
• State
• Zip
• E-mail
• Phone number where you can be reached during the day
• Alternate phone number
• Short description of the kind of fishing you would like to do
• Area that you will be visiting or would like to fish from (Santa Barbara to San Diego, and some further south)
• Number of people in your party
• Length of time you would like to fish
• 1/2 Day
• 3/4 Day
• Overnight
• Multi Day trip, and how many days

RESERVATION DEPOSITS
Once a boat and departure date is agreed upon, we require a 50% deposit within 7 days or less depending on how soon you want to go fishing. The balance is to be paid within 5 days before the departure date. You can send a money order, cashiers check or personal check, and make it out to Big Mike's Fishing Charters. There will be an additional 10% charge on any checks with non sufficient funds. Deposits are only refundable with 15 days advance cancellation notice, unless it is no hardship on our captains. There will be a 25% charge of the charter cost if you cancel your trip with less than 72 hours notice.

WEATHER
In the case of inclement weather conditions, the captain may decide to change the type of fishing, or decide to cancel the charter. If the charter time is cut short for some reason, we will prorate your charter accordingly. If the charter is cancelled due to unsafe conditions, we will refund you completely.

Big Mike's Fishing Charters has special rates to offer lady anglers' clubs and events.

CHARITY TOURNAMENTS
Big Mike's Fishing Charters will be glad to talk with you about Charity Fishing ventures, or Charity Tournaments, and Childrens' fishing trips. We will do our best to help accommodate you with the best possible pricing, and equipment that we can.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
If you need to book a hotel, and have not done so, please let us know at the time of booking your charter, and we will do our best to help accommodate you, or help you find a hotel that will meet your financial requirements.

GALLEY OR BOXED LUNCH
Some boats do not have a galley, and we can pack you a lunch according to your needs.
